Abstract
The California Clean Air Act (CCAA) requires regions that do not meet the State one-hour ozone standard to prepare plans for attaining the standard, and to update the plans every three years. The 2005 Ozone Strategy is a comprehensive doucment that describes the Bay Area's strategy for compliance with State one-hour ozone standard planning requirements, transport mitigation requirements, and is a significant component of our region's commitment to achieving clean air to protect the public's health and the environment. The strategy aims to reduce emissions of ozone-forming pollutants from transportation sources, industrial facilities, commercial processes and other sources.
