The Proposed Project is a General Plan Update, SOI Change, Annexation and Specific Plan undertaken by the City of Pismo Beach for the Price Canyon Planning Area. The Planning Area is about 1,700 acres and includes properties that are currently within the City Sphere of Influence and properties proposed to be included in the Sphere. The Specific Plan proposes residential, visitor serving and agricultural land uses along with road and utility infrastructure. The General Plan Land Use Element will be amended with new policies addressing growth management, biotic and visual resource and reducing automobile dependency.
