The City of Los Angeles (City) is proposing to upgrade two existing low flow diversions (LFDs) and construction of a 4,500-foot long relief sewer within the Community of Pacific Palisades and the northern limits of the City of Santa Monica. The project is funded by Proposition O, a Clean Water Bond Measure, which was approved by voters November 5, 2004. The project is needed to help the City meet the winter dry-weather bacteria Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) requirements for the Santa Monica Bay.
